DIRECTOR/TRANSLATOR: Lucie Tiberghien
A Brooklynite since 2001, Lucie was raised in France and Switzerland. Specializing in new work, Lucie spent 15 years developing and directing new plays in New York City and all over the country. She directed World Premieres at LaJolla Playhouse, CATF, Second Stage, Rattlestick Theater, Arena Stage, Hartford Stage, Kansas City Rep, Manhattan Class Company and more. As a translator and adapter, Lucie’s work has been produced in Paris and in New York. Bringing free theater and the works of Molière to Brooklyn was a long time dream which she is thrilled has become a reality. In 2021, she was awarded the prestigious designation of chevalier de l’ordre des Arts et des Lettres, by the French Government.
PRODUCTION STAGE MANAGER: Deanna Kahn
Deanna Kahn is a New York based stage manager. Recent New York credits include Bedlam’s Arcadia, Eisenhower: This Piece of Ground (Off-Broadway) and Misconceptions (Blessed Unrest). She has worked regionally with Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, Barrington Stage Company and Kitchen Theatre. Opera credits include A Streetcar Named Desire, Rigoletto, Fellow Travelers and Agrippina with Florida Grand Opera. She would like to thank her friends, family and partner for their support.
ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGER: Tala Munsterman
Tala Munsterman (They/Them) is an AEA Stage Manager currently based in NYC with 12+ years of experience from coast to coast. Their recent credits include; Off Broadway: A Guide For The Homesick. NYC Select Works: Desires of the Astronaut, The Red Rose, Torched!, Aloha Boricua, Harlem Hellfighters On A Latin Beat (Pregones/PRTT), The Golden Cage New works Premier Festival, Adventures of Ezra Jack Keats TADA! Youth Theater, Into The Woods New York Film Academy, and A Winters Tale New York Shakespeare Exchange. Regional: Matilda The Musical, Mama Mia, Sweeny Todd, Legally Blonde, Annie, The Little Mermaid, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang with The Fort Wayne Civic Theater (Indiana). Company, Ordinary People, and Building On Sand with Good Luck Macbeth Theater (Nevada).
SET DESIGNER: Marie Yokoyama
Marie is a Japanese lighting and set designer. She has designed for Moliere in the Park for their online production of Pen/Man/Ship and School for Wives. Her set design credits include Human at Asheville Creative Arts; Pillowtalk, TALA, and The India Plays with Kyoung’s Pacific Beats; Merry Widow and Fantasticks at Opera Theatre Pittsburg; and The God of Carnage at Redhouse Arts Center. Her recent lighting credits include Madama Butterfly at Virginia Opera; Dangerous Days at Miami New Drama; Cyrano de Bergerac at KC Rep; and Kim’s Convenience at Westport County Playhouse.
COSTUME DESIGNER: Jessica Irvin
Jessica Irvin, a Maryland born, New York raised Costume Designer, is currently the Costume Shop Manager at Queensborough Community College. She has worked as a Costume Designer and Assistant Costume Designer on several productions throughout her 9-year career. She has worked on shows for The Classical Theatre of Harlem, The Signature Theatre, and The New School , just to name a few. She is excited to be returning this year, to design her second show with Moliere in the Park. She feels blessed every day to be able to use clothing to tell a story. #IrvinLegacy
LIGHTING DESIGNER: Stoli Stolnack
Stoli Stolnack (they/them) is an NYC-based lighting designer and associate. Design: Moliere in the Park, Terminus (4th St Theatre), War Dreamer (Loading Dock) Associate: Once Upon A Mattress and Dear World (Encores), Prayer for the French Republic and How I Learned to Drive (MTC- Friedman), Jagged Little Pill National Tour, The Harder They Come and Fire in Dreamland (The Public), Dance Nation and Wives (Playwrights Horizons).
SOUND DESIGNER: Chad Raines
For the last 15 years Chad Raines has been Composing and Sound Designing for Off-Broadway, Regional Theater, Art Installation, Podcast and Television and Film. Currently, he is composer for the Tribeca Festival's Official Selection audio drama, "Last Resort" by Nerve Tank Media . He also occasionally performs and tours as a musician. LINE PRODUCER: Molly FitzMaurice
Molly FitzMaurice is a producer and dramaturg. She is the managing producer of The Tank, a home for emerging artists in Manhattan. Molly holds an MFA in Dramaturgy with a certificate in Theater Management from Yale School of Drama, where she is currently a doctoral candidate, writing a dissertation on the conceptual turn in American new plays. Previously, she served as co-artistic director of Yale Cabaret, producing director of the Dwight/Edgewood Project, and in the artistic offices of Yale Repertory Theatre, South Coast Repertory, Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, and Huntington Theatre Company. Founded by Jillian Eddy and Nick Breaster- Scenic Charge and Technical Director of this year's MIP production. The Scrap Pile (TSP) is a sustainability-focused initiative that reimagines the waste produced by the entertainment industry. We seek to divert the byproducts of film and theatre scenery, transforming it into a valuable resource for artists, communities, and performances like this one! TSP is thrilled to work with MIP having provided 100% of the paint and some additional materials to create Scenic Designer- Marie Yokoyama's beautiful vision for this project.. TSP not only reduces waste but creates a positive ripple effect within the community. Isaac Van Curen is a theatre and visual artist based in Brooklyn. He has worked in many facets, designing stage wear, large scale paintings, and performing as a drag queen (Isaac Miss Isaac). His design work has been at the Queensborough Community College recently for “Hit the Wall” and “Lysistrata", Lungs Harvest Art Festival, The Human Impact Institution, NY Theatre Festival, HERE ARTS, The Tank, Stella Adler, Playwrights Horizons, and many more. Mayah Lourdes Burke is a Haitian-American director born and raised in NYC. She creates space for the unseen, centering bodies often left in the margins. Deletris Bryant is a stage manager, director, and designer from the Greater Washington, D.C., Metro Area. A few of their credits include: Production Stage Manager for “Jeffrey Manor” (Apollo Works in Process), Production Stage Manager & Sound Designer for “I’m Gonna Marry You Tobey Maguire” (New Voices Festival 2024), and Assistant Director for “Hurricane Diane” (Kitchen Theatre Company). They are a graduate of Ithaca College School of Music, Theatre and Dance.
HOUSE MANAGER: Thijs Hogenboom
Thijs is an actor and dancer based in New York City. His dance career took him all over Europe where he worked with several prestigious dance companies. As an actor Thijs attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where some of his highlights were the opportunity to play Victor von Frankenstein in the musical Young Frankenstein, as well as Trinculo in The Tempest.
