About Molière in the Park

Molière in the Park (MIP) is a dynamic theater organization committed to fostering empathy and unity within Brooklyn's diverse communities through the arts. By providing free, high-quality theater productions in Prospect Park, we ensure that theater is accessible to everyone. Our mission is to bring communities together, stimulate dialogue, and challenge societal norms through the enduring and insightful works of Molière. Job Responsibilities

Social Media and Communications

• Assist the Social Media Coordinator with drafting post ideas and creating graphics

• Do theater-specific social media research (what’s trending both in hashtags, formats, etc.), competition research (what are similar organizations doing to boost their audience), and help the Social Media Coordinator keep track of analytics (what posts are doing well, which are not)

• Draft mass emails to invite people to our shows, galas, and other events

• Create and/or monitor surveys of audience opinions

• Assist in the creation of a yearly or quarterly report

Grant Work

• Assist with photo gathering and media sorting to help with grant submissions

• Research non-profit theater funding and sponsorship opportunities

Event Assistance

• Assist the Artistic Director with organizing, scheduling, and planning the Fall Gala and the Winter Staged Reading and attending these events and rehearsals

• Attend and take notes during planning meetings, and send through important points of discussion after the meetings​
