Lucie Tiberghien

A Franco-American Brooklynite, Lucie was raised in France and Switzerland and moved to New York in 1995. Specializing in the development of new plays, Lucie has since directed world premieres at Second Stage, MCC, The Cherry Lane Theater, Hartford Stage, La Jolla Playhouse, Contemporary American Theater Festival, Rattlestick Theater Company, MaYi Theater Company, The Humana Festival, Labyrinth Theater Company, Pan Asian Rep, New York Theater Workshop Next Door, and Arena Stage. She has developed new plays at Playpenn, Sundance, Ojai, The O'Neill, MTC, The Roundabout, Primary Stages, among others. It is through her work as associate to acclaimed French director Jacques Lassalle that Lucie developed her passion for Molière’s plays and her belief in his work’s ability to speak to who we are today.

Garth Belcon

An independent feature film Writer and Producer, and a theater Producer and Production Manager, Garth was raised in the Bronx but has called Brooklyn home for more than 15 years. His films, which include Whiteboys and Jails Hospitals & Hip-Hop, have been distributed by media companies such as 20th Century Fox, Fox Searchlight, Studio Canal Plus, Samuel Goldwyn Classics, STARZ Entertainment, and HBO. His theater works have been presented in houses like the Kennedy Center, Sydney Opera House and International Theater Festival of Havana. Garth is excited and honored to be a part of bringing Molière and the funny, biting, brilliant social commentary of his work, to Brooklyn and all of NYC annually.

Jessie Dean

Is a Brooklyn based comedy writer, actor, and theatrical producer originally from Atlanta. Most recently, Jessie has finished writing her first novel, Inventing Vida, which is currently in its final round of edits, and has penned two comedy pilots, Blue Skies, and We Belong with her husband and writing partner, playwright Gabriel Jason Dean, as well as Our New Town, a musical developed together with The Civilians. She is a former Co-Artistic Director of the experimental theatre company, Monk Parrots. Recently, she and Gabriel completed their first film re-write, Get Gomez, together. Jessie is currently at work on her first full-length feature screenplay. She received her MFA from Illinois State University. Jessie is ecstatic to be a part of the Molière in the Park team and to bring free theatre to Brooklyn!

Marketing & Development Associate

Thomas Ariniello

A recent graduate from Santa Clara University with bachelors' in Theatre and Marketing; Thomas is an aspiring playwright, costume designer, and drag queen; currently is the 2019-2020 Costume Design Mentee at Wingspace Theatrical Design and most recently, embodied a modern version of Molière at MIP's launch and was a PA for Denizens Theatre Company's production of Marisol. At SCU, they developed two plays, Instinct and Have I Got a Deal For You and a devised work for Charisma 2018; designed costumes for Claire Calalo's dance piece in Images 2018 and worked as a design assistant under Naomi J. Arnst for Legally Blonde; and performed as Ellard Simms in The Foreigner, directed by Aldo Billingslea.
